I love this jacket. It feels amazing, and I’m getting sad that I’m getting desensitized to the smell already. The leather is supple, tough, and sturdy. The weight is reassuring and it’s actually not too hot! I’ve been wearing it during this oddly coldish spring as much as I could.

Having decided to purchase a proper leather jacket, not wanting moto or military, but rather a practical cool weather every day jacket, I landed on Schott. I chose the 464, a heavy bison delivery/work jacket. Looked at other premium brands, but they were very focused on trendy.
Sizing was difficult. As I learned, a leather jacket is much less forgiving for sizing errors. However, Schott customer service was responsive, and delivery/exchange prompt.
Even to my untrained eyes the 464 L is well built, heavy leather. I'm sure there's inherent quality in the pattern, construction and materials that's not immediately apparent. In the final analysis, it's a fantastic jacket that I intend to wear for many years.

I’m very impressed with this jacket. The (brown) bison leather is thick and heavy, but quite supple and easy to move around in right out of the box. It also shows character quite easily, but that can be brushed or rubbed out if you really want to worry about that. The wool lining is not as thick as I was hoping, but I’ll likely be layering when I’m wearing this anyway.

The only disappointing thing about this jacket (and something I have to deal with EVERY time I walk by the closet and get a wonderful whiff of the new leather)… is that the preorder arrived once it was too warm to wear outside! I’ll have to wait another 5 months to really start breaking it in.

For those considering purchasing- I’m 6ft, about 200lbs, 43in at the chest and a Large fit me perfectly.

Beautiful jacket. Bison leather is supple and warm in cold weather, without being too hot. Fits well, I was between sizes and went with the larger one and it’s perfect.

I love my jacket. And so do others. I started getting compliments on how good it looks within minutes of putting it on. Fit is great. It’s a bit slim just like customer service said. The service was great. I originally ordered an XL but after talking to customer service switched to XXL. I have a Schott military type sweater that fits well and is XL but the XXL jacket fits perfectly. I’d err on the larger size if you think you’re in between. The jacket is superbly constructed just like every other product I’ve purchased from Scott.
