I really like the overall look and feel of the two purchased jacket — the fit is great and the materials seem solid. However, there is a serious issue with the stitching with both jackets. At 2nd day of use, in the areas where the seams meet at an angle (the intersecting points), the threads start to pop and break when the jacket is stretched or moved normally. These stress points should have reinforced stitching, but they fail too easily.
It’s disappointing because the jacket itself is very nice, but the seam durability needs improvement.

I have the N-2B2 (9936) flight jacket and it’s the best jacket I’ve ever had. So I ordered this as a light weight alternative when it’s not so cold. I like it but the fit is different, clearly designed for a hulk shaped fellow. It’s still ok but best if you are shaped like Thing.

These jackets are great! I bought first one in Manchester in ‘95 and only replaced it when it was stolen in 2012 and bought the exact same jacket to replace it. I’m now buying a third jacket because of the quality and longevity of the product. I recommend these to anyone looking for a good jacket!

I had already owned a few Schott leather jackets before buying this flight jacket. So I already had a high expectation of what to expect in terms of quality and fit for this jacket even though it’s not made of leather, and boy did Schott not disappoint. This jacket is pretty awesome. The quality of the materials is top notch and it is so well put together. I have probably owned 5 flight jackets in my lifetime and this is by far the best one.

I am a bigger guy at 6’ tall and about 265 lbs. I purchased the jacket in a size XXL which fits me perfectly. You will love this jacket for the price!

I have owned this jacket for about 5 years now. This is my go to jacket now in the winter and could not even say how many times I have worn it, day to day and traveling. Still, it is in good shape, just a little hole on interior pocket I need to fix. This jacket stands out for excellet construction and materials. Very warm and practical jacket. It is also great looking.

I've owned this exact jacket for about 5-years, and it is incredibly well made. No fraying, no issues at all. I live in Brooklyn in winter, and it keeps me warm all season. It's also a great windbreaker. The orange lining is beautiful, and you won't find a better quality bomber anywhere near the $100-200 price range.
