Overview
The origins of the fabric ironically didn’t start in Oxford but instead in Scotland in the 19th century. The texture of the fabric is achieved by using double yarns, instead of single yarns, to create a basket weave appearance. Because of this structure, the fabric tends to be thicker in nature and longer wearing. It's also somewhat resistant to wrinkles.
