Got mine for myself for my birthday. Im 19, and I spent two whole paychecks (and I'm broke!). I am a huge Springsteen fan and loved the movie. When I got ads for Schott and the collection, I immediately checked to see if they had a model similar to the BTR jacket. I had heard of Schott before, but now I dig the company and the history of it. I've delved much deeper into Schott lore as a lover of all things 60s/70s and that cultural historical time period, along with workware and classic americana fashion history. This jacket is not the exact same nor is it a recreation/replica of the original, but a cool spin on it. It nails much of a nice balance between 50s/60s/70s/80s leather moto jackets. I love it! I'll be getting my motorcycle license next summer and needed a good jacket anyways to protect me. The fit is great, ive had it for about a month now and its really broken in nicely and not shrunk but more so fitted itself to my body (I got caught in the rain a couple of times), but that's bound and supposed to happen.

I'm in college for film, but when I go home I work at a summer camp and a blue collar job of doing plumbing and pool work with my step-dad (along with other odd jobs, help working on a few classic and our regular car/van), just me and him, out of his work van. This Jacket is a good investment and I know it's gonna hold up for the rest of my days.

Jacket was too big, it had no size tags... it was too bad

A classic as timeless as ever. Well built, heavyweight hardware, beautiful leather. Comfortable and cool.

Nice jacket and great fit but one of the epulettes is not sitting as nicely as the other and one of the stars on it has a tine that was not bent down to go into the leather, so there is a sharp piece that throws off the crispness of the star.

Its proportions are not forgiving. They demand what’s necessary to wear it properly: a broad back and long arms. With a 102 cm chest, the size M — though it may look small at first glance — fits perfectly on well-proportioned bodies. It hugs where it should, defines the waist, and structures the back. This is not a jacket for just anyone; it’s not for shapeless silhouettes or effeminate.

As always Schott elevates your look without even trying. Although I will say that I actually do ride motorcycles so I have some credibility, but it still makes me look tougher than I actually am which is awesome and which is what most people want I’m sure.
