P571

It’s exactly as I imagined and I love it. It’s perfect.

This jacket turns a lot of heads. I’ve had my P693 for two years. After my satisfaction with it and Schott, I wanted a jacket for spring/fall.

The jacket comes tight, but as mentioned in other reviews, breaks in after a couple of weeks of wear. This jacket is a slimmer cut than my P693 and I have Large in both. It’s still a little snug in the chest when fully zippered, but looks and feels like it was tailored for a rockstar. Build is 42” chest, 31” waist at 5’9” 190lbs.

As for feeling “grabby”, I’ve had no issues with tshirts and the leather is comfortable against the skin.

Looking forward to another great jacket from Schott.

I vacillated for a while on whether or not I wanted to buy it, sight unseen, without being able to try it on. I am so glad I did. It is an absolutely amazing jacket. I’m about 5’8” and 140, and the small fits perfectly. I’ve already received multiple compliments on it and am eyeing my next purchase(s) from Schott.

I’m 6ft 225lb with broad shoulders… ordered the XL and it was too tight in the shoulders .. I exchanged it for the 2X and it fit perfect. Return was very easy and straightforward and I was given a store credit to purchase a larger size.. the new jacket was sent to me very quickly and I was impressed. You get what you pay for and this jacket is of impeccable quality. I look forward to wearing it , and I’m sure it will last my lifetime.. thx Schott nyc!

Looked forever for the perfect leather jacket. Mostly for warmer weather in the Los Angeles area. What had become an impossible task, became possible once iI physically visited the Schott brick and mortar store in LA.

My advice is, if at all possible, try on as many sizes and styles you need in person. The guys at the store were wonderful and just let me take my time.

It was then I realized I wanted an unlined jacket. Anything with a lining was too bulky and was just not made to wear indoors comfortably. Only by trying jackets on physically could I be sure. Never would have had the same success if I had blindly ordered online.

The Mission jacket was perfection. Amazing build quality, beautiful sheen. Can be worn comfortably in any situation, especially to an event or dinner.

I think it’s the perfect jacket unless you’re dealing with riding a motorcycle, or colder weather back East. Then you’ll want a lined one.

Thank you Schott for making the best jackets out there for the money. Yes, it’s expensive. But when you consider it’s made in the USA, and will last a lifetime……worth every penny. I’m now a lifetime customer. Keep up the great work!

Went for it immediately after I received 654VN and loved it on first sight.

6', 200lb, 41" chest, 34" jeans size with 31" inseam, 42R slim suit jacket, most shirts M, sweaters L

Jacket fits like a glove in size L. ( had to order 654VN in XL due to the "vintaging" process that shrinks it one size - keep in mind). Site recommended M - which I would not be able to put on with 2 people helping. Take this into account when ordering.

Workmanship is top notch, and I have a few high end brands items. On top of the quality materials, this jacket brings American heritage with it and is real pleasure to wear. Goes best with T shirt but can accommodate a button down for dress up. Timeless piece and warmly recommended.

Beautiful leather, little stiff suppose it needs some break-in. Slightly difficult to put on with no liner, but seems to be getting easier with time. I’m 6’1” 220 lbs have 2XL , arms good length slightly tight in shoulders.

Loved the light weight and fit, highend quality, great when wearing a T shirt.

Awesome summer leather jacket. Ordered form new Zealand , Arrived quickly. Great help from the help centre ge4tting the correct size. Sent me the exact measurements of this jacket so i was able to compare to one of my other jackets. Leather is soft and supple. Schott are a ggreat jacket! My my summer jacket for sure. warning to anyone else getting from overseas. i ordered 2 jackets at the same time so i went over the $1000nz dollar thresh hold for paying duty adding another 750 bucks to my 2 jacket purchase. Buy them one at a time to prevent duty being charged! More freight less duty!!!! I already love this coat and it has moulded to me like a glove in just 1 day of wearing it. highly recomend

High quality leather and craftsmanship, the size is perfect and fits like a glove. Still getting used to the unlined finish, but I guess it’s a matter of preference.

Fantastic jacket, just give it 2 days it settles right in to your body. My arms must be too short though, this and every other jacket in the world, is slightly long in the arms, but otherwise I love the fit and feel.

Great leather, soft. Unlined I could not put it on easily, Size was cut a little small for an XL. Once on looked great and fit was ok with t-shirt only. I have a 45" chest.

Ordered the XL for myself (6”3’ 205lbs). It fits perfect. Wore the jacket for 2 hours in 72 degree weather and it was very comfortable. A great very lightweight jacket. I was worried about it being unlined, however, I could easily take on and off. The interior stitching is beautiful and I love the perfect tag. Also ordered the 654 racer and I liked the leather and fit better on this 571. So happy!

It is a quality jacket and looks amazing. The unlined/lightweight design would be great for warmer regions. The only downside it is definitely a slim cut and doesn’t have bi-fold swing for the shoulders. Expect a tight fit across the shoulders and upper arms.
I am 6’, 190 with an athletic build. I do a lot of weight lifting so I have broad shoulders, chest, and upper arms. I ordered a size large and although I loved the look it was just far too tight in the shoulder area. Keep this in mind when ordering.

This is probably my favorite 'go to' jacket for casual wear ... it's not heavy or bulky at all and fits perfect. At first, I was not sure about it not being lined - something I wasn't used to - but after several wears the jacket begins to mold/shape to your build and fits/feels custom. I liked it so much in black that I also ordered one in brown. If you know Schott quality - you will understand the price. American made!

5' 6" 173lbs. Normally wear a 40S in jacket 33waist.

Bought this jacket in a Small yesterday and it fits perfectly. The torso nor the arms are too long. It fits slim so yeah it would be hard to squeeze a sweater underneath but any collard shirt should work. Great for LA weather.

This is my first leather jacket from Schott,

This jacket is definitely geared more for style than actual motorcycle riding functionality. It is a lightweight, unlined waxy cowhide. Despite being lighter weight, the jacket is still substantial. You can see and feel the quality as soon as you put it on. The cowhide is beautifully supple, and the jacket is very comfortable.

Some dislike an unlined leather jacket, but I find it slips on and off easily. It works well with just a t shirt, but there is room for another thin layer as well.

I'm a true 40" chest, 6'3" 175 pounds, and the medium fits me perfectly. I would recommend this style to guys who are fit and trim; any bulge around the midsection would make the jacket's slim fit look a little unflattering.

If you're looking for a classic moto racer with retro styling and a slim, tailored fit, the p571 is for you. I can't wait to beat the heck out of this thing for the next 20 years. It's going to vintage beautifully, and I have no doubt this is a "buy it for life" type of garment. We'll worth the asking price. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Met my every expectation. The jacket is well made, stylish but not in anyway dated. Very comfortable and will wear well I'm sure. And American made!

Nicely weighted, attractive and clean look. Stitch work is high quality. Been very pleased.

I am a 40 through the chest, and initially ordered the Medium which proved to be too tight. Exchanged it for the large and got rewarded with a perfect fit.

Basically this is a very good looking and well made lightweight jacket. At $700 I was expecting some light fabric lining. The raw leather looks cheap. The lining would also make an inside pocket possible. I find inside pockets very useful.
So, although I like the jacket, I feel it's overpriced for what it is.

I was a bit put off by the shine of the leather right out of the box. It almost looked like fake leather, but with and hour of wearing it it dulled and wrinkled very nicely.

Being unlined allows the leather to mold to your body like it was made for you.

This is a tee shirt only jacket.

This is my 4th Schott and maybe my favorite.
